OFFICE CLOSURE due to COVID 19 (SARS-CoV-2)
The States of Guernsey held Covid briefings on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 January. Due to the deteriorating Covid-19 situation, Chief Minister Peter Ferbrache announced on 23 January, that with immediate effect, the whole Island was to be placed in full lock-down.
In order for the Douzaine to comply with the above requirement and maintain strict social distancing, the Constables’ Office has now been closed and will remain closed until further notice.
We will closely monitor the situation and follow strictly, the advice provided by the Civil Contingencies Authority and the Director of Public Health.
The Constables will continue to deal with all correspondence received either by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or, letter post delivered to the Constables’ Office. Any payments due, such as Dog Licence Tax may also be sent by post or dropped through the letter-box at the Constables’ Office.
