The Footes Lane Stadium is Guernsey’s premier sporting facility and effectively the Island’s national stadium comprising a high quality, floodlit playing surface surrounded by a 6 lane polyflex synthetic athletics track with The Garenne Stand, a 720 seater covered stand with hospitality rooms, changing rooms for four teams and match officials, separate medical room, media room and toilets.
The stadium is owned by the States of Guernsey and hired to Guernsey FC by the States’ Culture & Leisure Department. It is also the home of Guernsey RFC, which plays in the RFU’s National League Three, London Division.
It is located centrally in the island, is easily accessible with parking for several hundred cars in the immediate vicinity and on a regular bus route stopping immediately outside the stadium. It is approximately three miles north easterly from Guernsey Airport and one mile west from St Peter Port, the Island’s capital. It also benefits from an experienced full-time groundsman.

Guernsey Football Club LBG
Guernsey Football Club was formed in 2011 to offer the Island’s elite footballers the opportunity to progress and test themselves on a regular basis outside of the Channel Islands. The proposal to establish the club and seek to join the English national league pyramid system was developed by the Guernsey Football Association in an attempt to further advance development opportunities for the island’s current and future players by playing at higher levels on a regular basis.
It is an independent, community amateur football club which plays in the Ryman Isthmian League, Division One South at Step Four on English Football’s non-league pyramid system. The club is owned and run for the benefit of the local Guernsey community and it plays its home games at the Footes Lane Stadium.

Guernsey RFC
Guernsey Rugby Football Club is an amateur rugby union team which plays at Footes Lane in St Peter Port on the Channel Island of Guernsey. The club runs two senior teams, a veterans side and a colts side. The team was founded in 1928 and plays in the London and South East Premier League under the Hampshire Rugby Football Union.

Guernsey Rangers F.A.C is a football club formed in 1893 and based in Guernsey, Channel Islands. It currently plays in the FNB Priaulx League. Guernsey Rangers is the oldest club in the Channel Islands[1] and were a founder member of the Guernsey Football Association.
The club traditionally plays in red and black and the club currently plays its home games at St Andrew, Guernsey.
Guernsey Rangers is recognised as an FA Chartered Standard Club – this is a club standard that has to be passed by The Football Association and is recognised highly, worldwide. The club is currently investing in football development and has a very good youth structure, with what is often regarded as one of the best ‘mini’s’ facilities in the island.

Guernsey Club de Pétanque LBG

The club was formed in 1984 and played at the Friquet Flower Centre from its induction until the year 2000 when the move to the Petanque Centre, St Andrew took place. The club is run by a committee which is elected annually by the membership, at the AGM in November.

The Golf Club is Guernsey’s premier golfing venue situated on the outskirts of St Peter Port. The course was designed by Tony Jacklin CBE and offers an enjoyable but challenging game for players of all standards. Since 2016 the course has benefited from extensive renovation, focusing on improved greens and more effective drainage. Subsequently, its members and guests can enjoy the facilities for more of the year, come rain or shine.
In 2016, The Golf Club embarked on an ambitious project that should cement its place as Guernsey’s #1 golf venue. Investment of over £2 million in new facilities and upgrades that included:
14 Bay Floodlit Driving Range featuring pop up tees and ball tracking in every bay
2 Double Performance Centres sponsored by TaylorMade and Callaway, including 2 indoor golf simulators

Pony Club
The Pony Club’s grounds are located at the junction of La rue des Courtillets and La ruette des Norgiots, St Andrew (Perry’s ref. page 29 E1).
Guernsey’s Pony Club is one of 20 branches within Area 14 and despite being on a small island, it is an active club with over 50 members. Members range from the age of 5 to 25 years. The Club holds regular training sessions and rallies throughout the year, interspersed with show jumping competitions and an Annual Pony Club Show. The Club also runs a Summer Camp during the school holidays where children and ponies stay at its Pony Club grounds for 4 days, taking part in various activities on and off the horses.
